... those slap bracelets. I have no clue why that and the color changing t-shirts came to mind first.
I don't know what they were really called but they had the thin, flat metal on the inside and some cool design on the outside (I had a Bart Simpsons one) and you would slap it against your wrist and it would curl around it.

Trash Bags action figures.. They were in this biodegradable "trashbag" that you placed in water to dissolve the bag to reveal your figure. Along with the Toxic Avengers! That whole environmental "movement" thing back in the day.. Oooh! And Captain Planet! lol
