Black Macbook, 2.0ghz C2D, 120gb hdd, 1gb RAM
2.8 P4
1.5gb Ram
Geforce 6800
140gb HDD total

should i get a new motherboard or just get rid of it and buy a powermac g5?

Depending on your budget and which would be more useful for you, just weigh what you need more.
