Okay, so it is not new...but it is only 26 years old! So what if it is older than me!

[Picture attached]

1981 Honda Civic
93xxx miles (yes, 93k...)
5 Speed
A whopping 67HP!

Everything in it works, including the rear defroster and the windshield wiper. The body is exactly as shown in the picture. There is a TAD bit of rust in the usual Honda spots, but the body is perfect other than that.

I am so excited! It is a phenomenal car. For being such a small engine, it really does have some power. I had no problem driving it home on the turnpike.

Now I can put my Prelude to sleep... :D

Haha that's so awesome.. I'm trying to find either an '86 or a '92 Jetta right now.. I'm so close to getting a loan, but so far away at the same time.

Wow, from the pic it looks like it's in really good shape for it's age, especially since it looks like it's in an area where there's cold weather. (ice and snow = salt = rust) How many miles are on it? At 26 years old, it's technically a classic. Enjoy it and keep it in good shape.

haha, a Honda Classic. Really nice. My brother had one and drove it into the ground (300,000 miles on it).

Nice car, i personally prefer older cars they seem to have more character than new ones.

Congrats on the car.

Hondas are such great little cars...and the 5 speed manual trannies are kind of fun to drive, even.

Nice find. I say its in need of a powertrain transplant, and make it a sleeper.

Nice looking! Did you buy it from an individual or did you get it off a lot? Whoever had it before you certainly seemed to take care of it very well. How is the interior?

That is a sweet ride.
I prefer the stock look with a lowered suspension and a set of 16" rims or something not too flashy. That would totally make that ride in my eyes.
i would keep that engine. That's very low for a Honda of that age. My del Sol is pushing 200k. As long as you upkeep that thing, it should last a very long time.

Wow, looks like its been treated well by previous owners. Finding a car that old with only 93k miles and minimal wear and tear is a pretty good find. Congrats!

It was made in the '80's though. I would guess around 24MPG. Far better than domestics of that era but but not up to today's economic standards.
