Well when i switched from my pc to the IMac (which i'm loving btw), I removed the hard drive from my PC and got it an external casing from a company called Enter as that was the only one available in the market and all the shopkeepers suggested to go in for that.
However for some odd reason my External Hard Drive can only be read on the IMac and on the PC which i have tried at my friends place it is 'read and write'.
It's currently in NTFS format and i read somewhere that macs can only 'read' NTFS formats and not write.
Could there be any other reason for this. As i don't want to try and reformat it myself into FAT32 and then have to lose the entire Hard Drive.
