selling my pc laptops....can I use some parts with mac?

can I use the hard drives that go into the pc laptops with a mac?

I know the memory is different...

what about the power cords? I have the ones that are adjustable...or are they special with a MAC also?

you can probably use the harddrive.

and you will probably like the mac power cords better (MagSafe)

The RAM is not different. Neither are the hard drives.
Power cords are different and wouldn't be useful to a Mac user.

hard drive would just need to be formatted....ram just depends on wether it is the correct specs for your mac
power cords will not be interchangable

what does "magsafe" mean?

I got this powercord with my new mac.....prolly not factory.






so what will a magsafe power cord do for me that this copy third party thing wont?

The MagSafe is only for the Macbook and MacBook Pro's. The older Powerbooks and iBook's do not use the MagSafe connector.

What you have there on your iBook is an aftermarket Macally power adapter.
