Hey guys,
I have to present a topic to the class tomorrow night, and I simply can't pick a topic. Here are the guidelines: Has to be about bio. Yep that is the only guideline, so if any of you have a favorite disease or disorder that you are really interested in, i'd be happy to present it to my class tomorrow. Its just so hard for me to choose a topic because there is sooo much to choose from!

that sounds like a good idea, right now its between your suggestion and the suggestion of one of my friends of cancer. I am leaning more towards anti-depressants because its not such a talked about topic.

No offense intended, but talk to mathogre. That might prove to be fascinating.

Well since this is a Mac forum, why not talk about RSI and all the eye strains and stuff related to using your mac for way to long. And you could relate it to all electronic devices too, like mobile phones, ipods, xrays etc. Saying how they all affect our health. And can create cancers supposedly etc.

For other ideas I'd have to agree with the energy drink one. And the people who drink excessive amounts of them.

Leporsy. It's always an interesting topic.

Do you know in India and several other countries, there are still leper colonies and people there are considered so low on the social food chain that it's not even fit to creamate the bodies for fear that it will transfer the disease to others. If you're a discovered leper, you basically lose your life and identity.
