I know the site needs money to run but a Vista ad every few seconds is making my stomach turn.

huh...I don't even see anything like that, or I never noticed. Maybe I have adblock on or something?

I don't think I saw any Vista ads. But then again, I don't really pay too much attention to ads.

For some reason I have this urge to get Windows Vista now...

I am usually on the forum through my iPhone. The banner on the right is flash so I miss out on half the fun.
The Vista banner (which I haven't seen) could offer me the Super Ultimate Professional edition for free and I could careless.
I am not offended just dumbfounded by the bad marketing.

I often forget that this is an ad-supported site, thanks to a nice little plug-in for Firefox ;)

I don't see it. I have mental ad block. I just don't pay attention to 'em. I'm usually more interested in what the people on the page are saying. :D

We could turn this into Vista Forums and convince everyone to run Vista on their Macs. :D

I hate Vista. Sorry. I really don't care what anyone thinks of me either. You like it, use it. I used it for over 6 months or longer and can not stand it. I use XP on my Windows systems and will not go to vista. I can give 1000 reasons but to me the most important is I do not like it

I have not seen the Vista add here either and could care. I do see what the OP is talking about though since this is a Mac forums. Vista seems a bit out of place. :D

Getting off topic, I know. There was never a real topic to start with. But I hate Vista too. I had it on parallels for a while. I love how the mac sets all the drivers automatically for it.

When I put vista on my my AMD, it lost all drivers for everything! It now sits by my bed as a night stand. My iPhone charges on top of it.

I have nothing against Vista or the good people who are kind enough to run this forum and the ads put up to support it.

To be honest, I don't really see the ads any more. Actually, that's not completely true, the ads that do happen to catch my eye are flashing Apple logos. Other than that I don't have the foggiest idea what is advertised here.

I just saw the Vista ad and it didn't make me sick. Maybe it was something you ate.
