Xbox Wireless Firmware Update and Macs

After hearing all of the hype, I finally decided to get Xbox Live. I didn't feel like drilling through walls and laying cable, so I took a chance and bought Microsoft's Wireless G adapter (praying that it would connect with my Airport network). While I am able to connect, I still have occasional connectivity problems. I found a firmware update on the adapter's support site; however, Microsoft (in its' finite wisdom) requires you to download the update to a computer, and then send it to the adapter (instead of simply doing it through the Xbox). The problem is that the update is an .exe file that my Mac won't open (again, thanks Microsoft). I don't have a PC or Virtual PC (and don't plan on shelling out for either), so I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion or solution.
Thanks
