Dear all,
I have just run an upload from the OS X's Software Upload for the new system 10.3.5 and it has caused me a problem after 1st restart - showing the Darwing/BSD Console screen instead of the normal OS X Desktop!
What shall I do? I cannot quit Darwin in anyway and procede to the standard startup!
Thanks in advance

I don't think you have a complete install. I would suggest you install Mac OS X Combined Update 10.3.5. I just don't know how ti install it from the command line.

Sorry witshark, but doing a file system check will not resolve the problem. Running repair permission might.

Either way I would update using the combo installer.

When started it shows that black darwin screen and I don't know how to access internet and d/l the file so I can procede with the installation.
Thanks anyway on the help!
