my cpu is being taxed even though im barely running anything, my activity monitor says all the resources are going to quick look server, is this normal?

well it seems like transmission is the culprit, sorry about that guys.

Yeah, there was someone with the same problem and I asked them if Transmission was running as this can cause the spike. I don't think they replied though.
