ok, that's not fair rman....I have a serious problem controlling my urge to spend on nice Apple technology and then you go posting things like that ;) . I've been forcing myself not to buy an iPod yet and I want to wait on the G5 until next year, but I don't know if I can control the urge haha. I guess of quenched it a bit for now by breaking down and buying an iSight LOL!

I agree, it is going to be my next apple purchase. I just bought a powerbook in april, so im gonna have to wait at least until next year to get a new g5. Hopefully by then they will have the 3Ghz chips out and the prices on the dual 2Ghz will go down. The close photos are nice, i cant wait until the bookstore here (closest to an apple store out here) gets one to try out. Im excited about panther too, it will make programming projects sooo much faster and hopefully easier, especially when i use the distributed compiles.
