Christmas Desktop

Not long til Christmas and no doubt there are some of you out there with a Christmas desktop up already. so lets have em!

Very nice, may I ask how an image like that is achieved?

hehe thread died pretty quick. Used a Canon 300D on a tripod. Set the shutter speed to 20 seconds, waited for he bus round the corner and ran back to break the button and there u have it!

An Apple Christmas 2007

One of my desktop images this year is the Christmas window display at the Apple Store - North Michigan Ave - Chicago.

I'm using one of the christmas wallclocks at vladstudio:

for the past 10 years, our family has done personal christmas cards we mail out to everyone we know. im on the far left, along with my mom, half dad, and step brother. (we've been a family since i was a newborn, so no weird feelings there).

i use a 20D canon SLR.. i used a 10MM wide angle lens, with 1 430EX bounce flashed off the top, and a long exposure. maybe a 1 second shutter. 1600 ISO since it was really dark.

worked out wonderful, since i got alot of background light, and my flash front filled our subjects. anyways.. its my desktop for another month.
