External speakers for my Mbp?

Im looking for some speakers that i can get for my macbook pro, whats the best way about it? i would like farely decent ones but its not too important.

walk on into your local audio store and tell em what you are looking for. they should be able to give you a wide range of choices. Or if you live near a best Buy or frys they usually have 20 or so to choose from.

Without doubt the bose companion 3 or 5 are the finest speakers for your mac i have 2 sets and 1 of them are for my main stereo system in my house, well worth the cash
