Hello everyone!

I have Sony HC3 miniDV HD cam. It works fine with iMovie '08 (i.e. I can manipulate camera from the iMovie). However, when I try to import shot footage into FCE, the Capture window shows nothing but a preview screen. All it does it starts auto playback and capture. THe profile is set to Apple HDV 1071 50. When I switch the profile to MiniDV FireWire Basic, it shows all expected controls, but cannot see the camera.

Are these specifics of HD handling in FinalCut or I'm doing something wrong?

thanks in advance!
