iTunes different on mac???

Mac mini 2.4, wife: iPad 16gb & iphone 3Gs, me: Macbook 2.6 & iphone 3Gs
Hi, trying to set up the wifes itunes on her macbook,

in windows flavour I can 'add folder to library' very handy for importing whole albums.

on the macbook all i can seem to do is add file

is there a work around for this??

Click "Add to Libary" from the File menu. Select the folder you want to add and then click "choose".

You Import a folder you can also drag a folder onto the iTunes icon in the Dock or directly either into the iTunes Library window or onto the Source column to the left which will create a Playlist of that Album.
