So I think that I have decided to get a MB because as a Finance and Banking student, I won't be running much video editing or anything like that. Mostly crunching numbers in Excel or Numbers. The only thing that is holding me back is whether or not the MB would be as good for viewing DVD's on as the MBP. I would hook them up through VGA to my LCD TV. Any opinions would be great.
Thanks

I have had no problem running dvd's on a 22" widescreen monitor through DVI, or a projector through VGA connection. I did have some screen resolution issues when i was running though VGA to the monitor, but only when i also had the macbook monitor open and in use
