Your Mac's Specs
iMac 21" 2.4G 320G HD OS Snow Leopard. Win7 on Dell PC Inspiron i5 8g Ram 1TB HD
Just got my iMac ,it has Tiger OS loades, I have the Leopard Cd. If I install the Leopard OS, willit overwrite the tiger Os, or will tiger still be there.
Thanks for any input. Van

it will over write the tiger os but keep settings as it is upgrade or not keep settings if clean install

Macbook(W) 2GHz, 80GB HD, 1G RAM, Windows XP
it should overwrite most parts of tiger, but if you were having any issues at all with tiger, it is best to do a fresh install so as there are no files left over that could interfere with leopard. quite a few people here have had a few problems with leopard after an upgrade, but a fresh install fixed it all.
