New Holiday Email Hoax?

I just got this from a friend and it looks really shady to me. Anyone else get this email about The Bloods and The Crypts?


For you shoppers, please be careful!

GANGS AT THE CHERRY MALL AND FRANKLIN MILLS IN PHILADELPHIA

I was just informed by a police officer at the state prison in Camden, that there are two gangs, the BLOODS and the CRIPS, hanging out at the Cherry Hill Mall and the Franklin Mills Mall in Pennsylvania, assaulting people (raping, robbing, carjacking, and any crime you can think off) after 5:00pm. These crimes happen more on weekends.

He recommends not going shopping alone; especially after 5:00pm.

I got that email too from someone back home (I'm originally from that area). But aren't the Bloods and Crips two rival gangs out in LA? Although I don't know anything about gangs, maybe it's like fraternities and they have chapters across the country, haha.

Yes Crips and Bloods are all over the nation. Them, like all gangs, spread eventually.

im a member of the CRIPS and i can assure you we arent doin that. i dont know about the BLOODS they might be... i hate those guys.

This is an oft repeated hoax. The same thing occurs every so often with the gang initiation ritual of driving woth the lights out and chasing anyone who flashes their lights at them. Same official notice at the botton as well.
