Hey everyone,

I just got a new 20" iMac 2.4 ghz with leopard installed and everything has been working wonderfully...except I have this random problem...

I cannot download pdf's. I have the latest version of adobe acrobat reader installed...however, when I open up a pdf file, safari just thinks...and nothing else happens....I really have no clue what is going on...

Anyone else have this problem or am I the only one?

odd one that

try right clicking the file and download it rather than viewing it in Safari

might be a Leopard bug which Safari or Adobe may sort out with an update

Bug

Apparently Adobes been having some issues with getting Acrobat to run in Leopard (it should be fixed in a few months). Try using preview instead, right click on the downloaded PDF- Open With- Preview.

Would remove adobe reader...
then locate a pdf file in Finder - right click - select Get Info
towards the bottom will be Open With... change it to Preview.app
and select use to open all files of this type

and actually you can do that without removing adobe
