Hey Guys
I just got a new MacBook Pro.. first time ever using a mac...i love it so far.
I was wondering how to charge the battery so it will last long...
when the charge is complete should i unplug and let run out and then plug back to recharge? when working leave it plugged???

Don't worry about it! Use it and enjoy your new MBP. I don't think you have to worry about "conditioning" the battery.

There was another post about battery here which explained it quite well. I can't seem to find it.

The battery is always discharging even when it has been taken out and not in use but of course it will discharge a lot faster when it is in use.

Calibrating it every week or every month (can't remember which one, i do every week) will make it last longer.

There is another one that explains how to calibrate. I can't find it. google it.

The more you use it the faster the life span will be. Like kfordhan281 said just in enjoy it. it will be years before you will need to replace it.
