Who needs Internet Explorer, now that Jobs & Co. has its own browser? The much bigger threat is the growing chance that Microsoft will abandon Office for the Mac.

That could be a solution but ONLY if it is 100% compatible with Office both importing and exporting. So far no, competitive office app has managed that and I don't have much hope that "iWorks" would be able to either. Office unfortunately is critical for the Mac platform at least at this point since over 90% of ffices use the MS suite.
