iphoto 08 help

I need to change some dates for my "events" in iPhoto 08 (I just got it yesterday, so im pretty new at this) . Anyway, I managed to change them by going to Batch change. but it still says the date I had BEFORE the new one
For example: December 30, 2004- July 26, 2007 :S
How can I get rid of the before date?
