It's not confirmed until Apple says so. It's still a rumor.

That does not mean it is confirmed. The only way it is confirmed, is if Apple releases an announcement on it.

I wouldn't hold your breath on this one, I don't think The Street has ever published an accurate prediction. This one is far from confirmed.

Not only that, but this guy couldn't accurately predict what he's going to eat for dinner.

Do you think he could at least predict what I'm going to eat for lunch?

I'm starving!

Exactly. Why even put the word "CONFIRMED" in the thread title when it doesn't even appear in the article????
The article you linked states quite the opposite and doubts the veracity of this claim as well.
I rate this rumor at 0% probability of likelihood.

I just don't get it ??? ???

You would think there would be a bit more then 8 days hype as well lol.

I mean, I don't think Apple would just pop up and say
'oh and we've got a new Macbook too'

On the day Leopard is launched lol.

I guess the OP didn't read the part of the "story" where even the person writing about it says there's 0% chance it's true. For those who don't know, that means NO CHANCE.

All he needed to add at the end of the story was, "and if you'll buy that, I've got some swampland for sale."

Any one know of a hotel in Vegas that takes lines on what Apple is going to do or not going to on a given day?

So then that mean's there is no chance of it being true right?

Rofl.

Is that confirmed?

I don't care much either way, I personaly love hearing rumors and all that jazz..

It just makes me love Apple more and more seeing that there are tones of you out there who love Apple just as much if not more then I do!

What??? I think this guy is mistaken for the rumors about Apple re-releasing a 12" because people were vocal about how much they miss the Powerbook 12".

"A new ultra-portable 13" Macbook"???

The Macbook is already 13", which to me is the perfect size for the widescreen. I have the 15" Macbook Pro and it felt huge after upgrading from my Macbook, but now the 13" feels tiny!

Anyway, this Scott Moritz guy is an idiot. Anyone who makes predictions, especially about the ever unpredictable Apple, is just asking to branded a moron.

Well if Apple does indeed release a new macbook, it better havebetter specs.

I won't go for a new macbook thats slimmer aluminum, and has equal or lesser specs, that just a big turnoff.
