I was wondering if anyone could help me compile WINE. I have looked here
but it isn't really clear at all to me. I don't know much/anything bout Linux though. I want to install wine to play Team Fortress 2 and if not that then at least Team Fortress Classic. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Have you tried Crossover Mac? It's built on WINE.

I run TF2 natively with Boot Camp. I think it would run like a dog otherwise (if at all).

I might try Crossover if I can't get WINE to work. WINE is free while Crossover is not. I don't want to use Boot Camp because I don't want to buy Windows. I saw an article on Digg recently about playing TF2 using WINE. This was on Ubuntu but if I had wine installed I'm guessing it would almost be the same.
