Hi all :)

Im new here, i joined because i think you guys could help me.

i need to choose between the 24 inch imac and the 15 inch macbook pro.

i can get them for the same price,

its the basis macbook pro and the 24 inch "basis" model aswell

what do you guys think? i already have a little white macbook, its good, but not fast enough for the really fun things game, graphix etc..

please help :D

So you have to choose between a laptop and a desktop?

I think that's something only you can decide. I can't help you figure out whether you want a portable or a static machine!

I know, but what is the pros, cons of the machines? on paper the only thing the imac wins is 24 inch screen!? is this the only thing?

20" intel iMac, 15" MBP, 3 X 13.3" MB (family etc), G4 tower, 12" G4 PowerBook, iBook G4, 20" iMacG5
Get the 24" imac and keep the macbook, unless you really need more power in the laptop, in which case get the MBP, and sell the MB and buy a G5 imac or something. Chop and change and maximise what you have.
