I hope someone out there can come up with an answer to this. We are running two iMacs, and it is necessary to use Mail to send e-mails to PC's. Both machines have the same set of preferences.
Whilst I am aware of the shortcomings of e-mails between different operating systems, one of the iMacs functions OK when transmitting messages, i.e. most of the formatting is correct except it changes the font to Times New Roman when it is received by a PC running Windows. The other is different not only does the font change, but any symbols like a £ sign disappear and the formatting goes to pot!
Any Offers?

Never seen an issue with emailing between 2 OSes honestly. Try not to use odd fonts that others do not have and you should be fine.
