I touched! I touched! I touched!

[Might not mean a lot for you guys, but I can't contain my excitement for I finally got to see and use Multi-touch...the iPod touch that is. Amazing piece of technology]

Eh, I don't really see what's so great about the whole "touch" thing. I've used an iPhone, it works just the same as all other touch devices out there.

But congrats anyway.

Clearly you've used it for nothing more than just launching the programs if you think the touch interface on the iPhone is the same as that on other touch devices.

It isn't even remotely the same. I got the iPhone after owning the Cingular 8125 and the 8525. I've used my father's Palm devices and none of them come close to Multi-Touch on the iPhone.

I love the iPhone interface. Mainly because it is smooth, the multi-touch doesn't really do a ton specifically, but overall it is great.

I just hope I don't succumb to the pressure and buy it. I'm planning on waiting till the iPhone comes to town... (march perhaps?)

You know after using my iPhone the last three months and loving every minute of it, I get so used to that touch screen.......

........that I tried touching the screen on my iPod Classic this morning and after a second felt so dumb when I realized what I did. I was confused for just a split second when nothing happened when I touched the screen.

I know what you mean. I always find myself touching the screens of other people's phones and they look at me like I'm crazy ;P
