Hello all, just joinded the forum and am in need of a solution.
Recorded a movie from my cam corder on my external dvd-recordable player on a dvd+rw.
My power book G4 reads it well with idvd and I have no problems playing it on both my laptop and my external player.
Here is where the problem starts when I want to edit it with imovie, and try to go in the folder on my laptop, it's all in exec files. I tried renaming them, doesn't let me do that, I try putting the dvd in my pc, my pc doesn't even recognize the dvd.
Is there a way I can move those files that are in the format exec into imovie.
Just a little more info on that movie. When I try to open the folder without passing through idvd, here are the names of the files I get.
First 2 folders called VIDEO_RM and VIDEO_TS, then within those folders, the files are DVD_REC.USR
PVR_TEMP.USR
VIDEO_RM.BUP
VIDEO_RM.DAT
VIDEO_RM.IFO
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_1.VOB

So if someone can help me with this I would be very grateful.
See I have one hour of a kid's soccer game that I need to transfer into imovie, shorten it and cut the shaky part etc.
Thanks
