Automator? Not that great?

Hi

I have just started to try and use Automator, so far I only have an image scaling Workflow.

But what else can it be used for? I wanted to create a wrokflow that would enable me to convert files to PDF's easily, without having to open Pages, Numbers, etc. I could just Right click Automator and send to PDF.

Does Leopard have updates for Automator? I would like to add in application functions of my own into Automator to make it more useful. Can this be done in Tiger? Can it be done in Leopard?

On another note, when is Leopard out?

Leopard has updates for Automator where you can record your steps with a mouse, much like a macro. You can add your own scripts by means of Applescript, which you gotta learn (its easy though)
