I just got my subscription to The Economist. I also already have a subscription to Newsweek. I thought this was appropriate.

Sorry if I missed any. I tried to get all of the big ones.

I just got my subscription to The Economist.

Congrats. They cover news that isn't sexy enough for the other news outlets. They cover such a variety of REAL news too. I'm pretty sure they won't cover OJ or they'll just mention him in maybe one article, which is great.

They still print news on paper and deliver it to your house every week?

Do they print by hand, or have they discovered movable type printing? Do they do stone tablets, too? Are they carried on horseback, or do the carriers come by steam train?

On a slightly more serious note, the New York Times is now making its opinion columns available for free on the web. No more paid subscription.
