Finder Bar Discolored??

I noticed this today, my finder bar is half white and half grayish?? The top half of the bar is a whitish color and then the bottom half is a darker grayish color. It looks like crap, why is this happening?

That's weird. What OS version are you using? Look for a program called grab, and take a screenshot, then upload it to here. Maybe it's your monitor and Apple has to replace it, or maybe it's something else. We'll be able to tell after you take a snapshot.

I think it's the Apple glossy look they now put on everything. I have it too.

Looks fine to me. :/ Try changing themes in your System Prefs

I have that two, it appears a line is going down the middle.

yea, that's just how the apple meny bar looks. you can either change your theme with a third party app such as shapeshifter) or deal with it.

You can "tune" it out by running the Monitor Calibration Tool in the Screens pref pane.

Awhile back I noticed it on my PB, and thought it was something wrong. Then I got my iMac, and noticed the same thing. It is less noticeable on my iMac.

Its how designers make things "glossy." Been there for years.
