I am trying to use garage band to do some basic acoustic guitar and vocal recordings. I would like to plug a mic into the audio in port on the back of my imac. What is the best mic to use and best way to go about this without getting to expensive?? From everything im reading they say i need a condenser mic?

any suggestions would be great!

Thanks
