Sources confirmed to Think Secret that Apple is investing in Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) technology, and is researching and investigating its uses in Apple products. The company reportedly plans to use OLED in next-generation iPods next year.

I guess with that mentality we could wait forever, because there would always be a better, newer model.

Course how much can one improve on a mp3 player? your always going to have the same function.. just improvements on like a display or more games..

I might've landed a new job which would mean a 45 minute commute both ways, so as soon as I get the call, i am ordering and iPod.

The software will always be upgradable.

That's about what my commute is. It's not so bad once you get used to it ;)
