Hi all

I just bought an emac for £60

Its a 1ghz G4 with 640mb ram and a 60gb hard drive.

Ive got a problem though - on the screen theres loads of little green and yellow lines, which move around when I move windows and stuff, could it be like a graphics driver issue or something?

btw this is my first time using a mac so I dont have a clue about them

Errrr...not sure that it will help, but reset the pmu, scroll down to page 47:

Then reset the pram:

If neither one of those work, in a last act of desperation and possible divine intervention you can archive and install or erase and in stall:

And you can run the apple hardware test. That sometimes will tell you if you are having a hardware problem, scroll down to page 53:

If after all this, you still have lines on your screen, or you don't have the original install discs, then as the Germans say, Kaputt!
