splitting files in WinXP and joining them in Tiger

i need some help

i have a large file (3,7GB) which is split with total commander under windows XP and i want to join it under Tiger. Possible? How?

Is there any other method of doing this? i know about multiple rar archives but it really takes a while...

Your Mac's Specs
iMac Core Duo 20", iBook G4, iPhone 8GB :)
If you make multiple rar archives, but set the compression as "Store" or "Fastest" there is no time lag other than the time required in actually writing 3.7GB of .rar files onto your hard drive.

Unrar them with Stuffit on the mac and you are done...
