Draging fles from OSX into Parallels(windows)

is it possible to drag files from OSX into windows when using it with parallels?

I tried i just now but the dragged item just flicked back into the folder it was in and did not go into parallels

It certainly is possible, I do it all the time. Quite why yours is not working I do not know. Have you installed the parallels tools in Windows?

No, then. Choose Install Parallels Tools from the... one of the menus while the VM is running.
