Best Current Actors/Actresses

I was talking about this with my brother recently.

Best actor right now in my opinion:
Leonardo DiCaprio

• Titanic
• The Departed
• Gangs of New York
• Catch Me If You Can
• The Aviator

My opinion. What do you think?

Johnny Depp. 'Nuff said. Christian Bale is also doing well. I haven't seen DiCaprio in much so I can't comment on him.

Love Bale. Amazing in The Prestige and Batman Begins.

I think Depp is overrated. I loved Pirates but other than that, he isnt my favorite. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was good too.

I'm a big fan of Bale as well. DiCaprio is also a pretty good actor, especially with the stuff he's made in the past two years.

Brad Pitt is good, if you ignore his "celebrity" status - he was brilliant in Snatch.

I agree with Bale, he was awesome in Psycho, Batman Begins, The Machinist, and I really want to see 3:10 To Yuma. Not to mention The Dark Night should be pretty good which comes out this summer.

I don't think he is the best but a very good actor is Hugo Weaving imo.

And Chris Bale and Eric Bana!

another vote for Bale. anyone who doesn't think so really needs to see the machinist.

i also have to mention my own personal favorite, who is often underrated as an actor - bill murray.

Clive Owen

Bale and Depp you can't go wrong there.

Forgot even about Pirates of the Carribean and go see his Movie BLOW. Simply Brilliant.

Bale is great as well, I was actually just watching the Prestige which is another Brilliant movie.

Best actors are christopher walken and depp.

Steven Segal is the best.

Ed Norton... Hands down (IMO)

Leonardo DiCaprio (Brilliant in The Departed), Gary Sinise (hasn't been in many films lately, but he was great as Lt. Dan), and Tom Hanks.

Mel Gibson was pretty good before he lost his mind. Anyone seen Ransom?

Anyone on SciFi Channel movies, and Dane Cook

Kevin Spacey -- outstanding actor.
Scarlett Johansson -- for obvious reasons.

I can't believe I forgot to include Johnny Knoxville in my 'Worst Actors' list. Did anyone see The Ringer? That is THE WORST acting I have ever seen. Knoxville should stick to injuring himself because he's no actor.
