I belong to a number of other on-line forums, and recently, due to a problem I was experiencing with my Linux setup, I have had to spend a fair amount of time on some of them... and I do mean "have had to".
There is no comparison to Mac Forums. This place isn't just a forum, it is an on line community. Those other forums I have had to work into over the last week or so are just ...cold... People are snarky, out to one up each other, "RTFM" passes for helpful advice, and the whole atmosphere is just ...challenging.
Mac Forums is such a great place to come back to. We are a community here. A lot of us know each other, if only through length of time reading and responding to each other's posts, and there is a genuine atmosphere of friendliness and trust here.
Lets all keep up the good work. We have carved out a truly unique place on the web here!
