Longer battery life?

Do you guys take out the battery when you're just using your macbook at home? I've heard from people saying that when you're not going out take the battery out cause leaving it in while you are on ac power will shorten the battery life. Is that true?

Ah i c, thx for the replying guys, i guess i'll follow the 2nd one haha. Even though i do believe lefting the battery in while using as a desktop at home will reduce the battery life time significantly over time.

Still follow apple's advice, + got the 3 year future shop warranty anyway, once battery dies get me a new one!
