I've been using DVD Studio Pro since version 1.0 which came with a handy little app called A.Pack. It's very useful for encoding 5.1 and other types of AC3 files. I have migrated to a new Mac and have legit installs of both DVD Studio Pro 1 and 4, but every time I launch A.Pack I get a message saying that "DVD Studio Pro must be serialized before you can run A.Pack". Both are serialized and work fine, but A.Pack thinks differently. I can get A.Pack to run by double-clicking an older AC3 file that was previously encoded with the system and then select a new batch window, but that is annoying. Any ideas on how to get the think to run with just a double click (so I can launch it from the Dock)? Of course permissions and all that have been repaired a billion times, Onyx run, etc.
I wish making 5.1 AC3 files were doable from Compressor, but I can't figure out how. A.Pack offers a GUI to drag and drop mono sound files for each channel where you want them. Compressor does not seem to have this. Does anyone know differently?
