Welcome to Mac-Forums, biab.

HTML code is HTML code, no matter which computer platform or computer model you use. HTML code is meant to be platform, computer brand and OS independent.

So me thinks your code isn't written properly and that it isn't your MacBook that's acting up.

Copy/paste the HTML lines here, some members here are extremely good with website construction and HTML coding.

The answer is simple. Just hold the cursor over the graphics and the alt tags will appear. :)

Only if an ALT tag is provided though.

According to the W3C, ALT data is supposed to appear only when an image fails to load. Images, like links, should make use of the TITLE attribute in order to have text appear in an onMouseOver "tool tip."

Given the variance in proper support by various browsers, I generally use both attributes in my designs.

<img id="lorem" src="lorem.png" alt="Lorem Ipsum Dolor Sit Amet" title="Lorem Ipsum Dolor Sit Amet" />

I hope this helps!
