Problem: I lost many videos

This is my problem: yesterday I accidentally deleted many videos from my collection of home-made videos. Fortunately I have all of them on my AppleTV... is there any way to recover them from the AppleTV ? Otherwise, I would like to configure iTunes in order to not take care of them any more, and just sync to my Apple YB the new videos...

Any help ?!?
