Greetings,

I didn't want to hijack another thread to ask this question, but I am quoting a relevant portion to set the stage...

By the way, I recommend formatting the Windows partition as FAT, since OS X can read (but not write to) NTFS. It will save you trouble in the future. My work computer is set up the same way, and my Windows partition had to be reimaged recently.

My question is this: If OSX cannot "see" an NTFS partition, and one has virtualization software [VS], can the VS still use the partition?

Or: in order for Boot Camp and the VS to work together, must the partition be FAT32?

Thanks!

J
