hey all

i recently purchased a macbook 13' about a week ago and it's already crashed.

i noticed the problem when my iTunes wouldnt' play my songs properly and then a greyish screen popped up (in 5 different languages) told me to restart my macbook my holding down the power button.

when i had done so and relogged back on, a screen popped up to tell me that MAC OS X crashed and quit on its own

anyone experience this and should i be highly alarmed?

Oops sry I read wrong. I thought that when you started it back up it came up with the kernal panic again.

Nvr mnd.

Like Irye has said it was a kernal panic, if it is recurring like Irye said take it in for a check.

You've experienced a Kernel Panic. If this is the first time, don't panic. If it keeps doing this, take it to the nearest Apple Store. :)

thanks fellas

i ordered it through Apple's telesales. If the problem persists would it be just as easy to exchange it as though it were through an Apple store?
