1) What was the first record/CD/cassette you owned?

An album called 100% Kids full of cartoon theme songs. I got it as a present when I was 5 or 6. It's not cool, but it's true (and I still have it).

2) What was the first song you fell in love with?

3) What is your current favorite song?

Atlantis to Interzone (Hadouken! Remix) - Klaxons

4) Have you ever downloaded music illegally, and do you feel guilty about it?

Yes. No; I'm sure the music industry won't miss those few pennies.

5) What was the first song to make you cry?

Erm, the Schindler's List music at the end... but I don't think it was just the music that caused that (and I watched the film just after coming back from a funeral, so I couldn't say how much was the film).

6) What was the last record you bought? How is it?

About What You Know - Little Man Tate. Not listened to it all yet, but so far so good.

13,655. I Need a bigger iPod.

8) What was the last concert you went to?

Primal Scream, with The View supporting (who where awful!).

9) What was the best concert you went to?

Either James Blunt before he got all big and sickly, or Embrace (with Morning Runner supporting).

Atlantis to Interzone (Hadouken! Remix) - Klaxons (coincidence, it's not on repeat).

I had a bunch of kiddie albums as a child. I think the first thing I ever really asked for was the star wars soundtrack back in 77-78. it was a double album (vinyl).

it may have been "could it be magic" by barry manilow when i was about 8 or so. that or "life's been good" by joe walsh or "hotel california" by the eagles.

3) What is your current favorite song?

i have a bunch of favorites, but not one single one. there's a lot of stuff by the brian jonestown massacre, muse, my morning jacket, sufjan stevens, the dandy warhols, spoon, and ...and you will know us by the trail of dead in my heavy rotation.

no idea, there's been quite a few though.

i racked my brain, i actually don't know...

well over a thousand physical albums, lots of electronic copies of stuff too.

the eels. brilliant!

portishead at the guthrie theater in minneapolis - small venue that was actually built for sound, front row, awesome show.

Yes. No; it's not really about the music anymore if you have to make sure everybody pays to hear it.

Never had a sog make me cry. Not trying to be a hardguy or anything but just haven't.

I can't even remember. I dislike concerts. The music almost always soudns awful.

No. I am obsessive about staying legal.

Cool Hand Luke's The Balancing Act and Jeremy Camp's Beyond Measure. I like them both!

It was a children's sing-along by someone similar to Raffy... can't ever seem to remember his name when I need it lol.

Gosh... I don't remember the name of it so I'll name one that I know I loved... Mo' Money, Mo' Problems - Notorious B.I.G.

Satan Is My Motor - Cake (thanks to the guy who reccomended their album, Prolonging the Magic)

Yes. I don't feel guilty... but if it's an artist I really care about I may buy their album as well as downloading it.

All of these "firsts" are kind of hard but I can name one I remember for sure... Take My Picture... can't remember who it's by. "Could you wanna take my picture, 'cause I won't remember."

Talib Kweli - Quality Music... amazing at times... it all depends on your mood.
