Hardrive Space?

I recently switched to a macbook from a PC.
Now on a PC there was a temporary folder where misc. items from the web were stored. I noticed yesterday that I was losing hardrive space after viewing movies online. I did not download any of them nor did I save them to my desktop. My only assumption is that it was saved in the temporary folder.

Now my question is:
Where can I find and delete the contents of this folder?
Also if my assumption is wrong do you guys know whats happening?

Thanks
-Justin

Are you using Safari? In the Safari menu is an option called Empty Cache, select that, and it will delete the temp files.

I recommend the software Whatsize (it's freeware) and a nice little utility to determine where all the HD space went to.

Hope I was of help.

Good luck finding your 6gigs;-)
