Been saving up for awhile. I'm selling all of my PC equipment as well. The Santa Rosa-based MacBook Pro can do everything I want in a computer, so I should be all set. They even took off the $199 rebate for the iPod directly from the laptop, so I don't even have to mail anything in!

Yeah, I'll have a very poor Christmas this year LOL. Next we are selling my wife's 20" iMac Core Duo and getting her a 13" MacBook so that we'll both have laptops and iPhones (she's a photographer, I'm a computer technician) so it's the perfect combination

I haven't even opened the MBP yet. I have some ram and a hard drive coming for it, along with a Speck case...I want to do the same thing with the iPhones - open it in a clean environment, do what I need to do, then wrap it in the shell. I'll post some more pics in a week or so when everything is up and rolling

I'm still trying to work out the iPhones. On the phone with AT&T. Neither one activated, so I just called in (after a few hours) and it's showing my # activated my but wife's phone number on it. So I had to pull out my SIMs and give them the IMEI numbers from both phones; they are manually activating them now as well as swapping numbers. Hahahaha...
