Has anyone ever checked out this site?

www.cashforlaptops.com

I have a Dell laptop and Compaq laptop that I'd like to get money for, and this site said they'd give me $225 each. Anyone know if this site is trustworthy? Or can you recommend another site where I can sell these laptops? They are each about 4 years old and run Windows XP, but run with pretty much no problem.

Thanks!

Seems like they give pretty generic answers. They offered $700 for my 15" MBP too. They didn't even bother asking for the specs to know if it is a Core Duo or a Core2Duo or even if it is Intel based.

I second that. Ebay has gotten so big that it is the most representative environment of the real market place on the internet. Typically the price you get for something on Ebay is it's actual going price in the real market. And typically prices for like-items auctions are very close to one another.

Thanks for the advice... how safe is ebay? I've never sold on there before, just bought.

And how much could I actually get for a 4 or 5 year old Dell Inspiron or Compaq?? I'm thinking like $25...
