I've always liked how iTunes organizes my media. Is there a way to add AVI files to my library?

I can already play them on QT w/ perian and VLC, but can I add it to iTunes?

I may be completely wrong about this, but I don't htink iTunes will play .avi viles.

You could always, just try to import, and select the .avi, and see what happens.

Since iTunes just uses QuickTime to play the files, technically it will play them... but I don't know if it'll let you add them to it's library or not. You'll just have to try it and see.

With Leopard, the whole operating system will act like iTunes, so your problem may be solved when that comes out.

Have a look at 'Finder' on the Leopard site on Apple.com
