ram demand for leopard?

Your Mac's Specs
macbook 2GHz intel core duo 2 GB ram Mac os x 10.5 Leopard
i have a 1st gen macbook.
512 mb ram 80 gig HD ect. ect.

I travel a lot and i am really interested in upgrading my OS.
the new features in mail look perfect.
i also spend houuuurrssssss on my computer in hotels, airports, bus stations you know..
compared to how my mac performs wither tiger. is it going to change drasticaly for leopard?

Since it's not available as yet, anything we say will be guessing, but I would upgrade to 1GB RAM at least. Even Tiger really works better with 1 Gig RAM if you open a lot of applications at once.
